  • What do I do if my Foldaway is rattling?

    More than likely, nothing is wrong with your product. It just needs some normal maintenance. If it rattles when the seat is down or deployed, adjust the 2 stop-bolts as the end of the parallel truss runners on the bottom of the seat. If it rattles when it is stowed, use the truss lock. This is located about 9" off the floor. It may need to be tightened.

  • What are the main differences between the 3PT and GO-ES Foldaway?

    The 3PT Foldaway has internally mounted seat belts. The GO-ES Foldaway has externally mounted seat belts.

  • Can I secure a child seat on a Foldaway seat?

    Yes! All Freedman seats can have optional CRS hooks to secure a child seat.

  • Can foldaway seats be mounted on L-Tracks?

    We recommend working with a van up-fitter and/or purchase through a dealer. We cannot advise on whether a van is “seat ready.”
